Explanation about Vanilla Essential oil: Our ingredients list says Vanilla Essential oil since that is how the raw material is labeled and to be consistent and follow proper guidelines our ingredients list has the Vanilla extract listed as an essential oil. However, our vanilla bean extraction method is an oleoresin which is often referred to as the essential oil although they are different in the way that the vanilla is extracted. The oleoresin is produced through solvent extraction with macerated beans versus an essential oil which is extracted by CO2 and pressure. As always we have sourced a high-quality vanilla extract to keep our products chemical-free and all-natural.
